Artwork Artwork may be submitted in either hard-copy or electronic format. Please remember, the quality of the imprint can be no better than the quality of the art!
Obtaining the best quality art for your job in the least expensive manner is our primary objective. Following the guidelines reviewed below will help ensure that your project progresses in the fastest time possible, and for the least expense.

Electronic Artwork We are PC based and require that you submit PC files. Art can be submitted via email or disk. We can accept CDs formatted for a PC. Art submitted in MAC format will incur an additional charge for conversion and add to production lead-time. ALWAYS transmit a hard-copy of your art in conjunction with the order.
Art can be accepted in the following formats, at no extra charge (provided that the file is truly the file type listed below): 1. Adobe Illustrator, up to version CS2. It must be a true Illustrator file (created in Illustrator, not imported). Please convert all text to outlines. Embedded bitmap images may incur additional charges. 2. CorelDraw, up to version X3. It must me a true CorelDraw file (created in CorelDraw, not imported). Please convert all text to curves. Embedded bitmap images may incur additional charges. 3. EPS files. Any EPS file must be a true vector file. Embedded bitmaps may incur additional charges. 4. Some bitmap files (TIF, JPG, GIF, PSD) may be used, depending on size and resolution. An art charge may or may not apply if you choose to submit a bitmap file. 5. When multi-colored artwork is being submitted, it MUST be submitted in spot colors. Art submitted in process (CMYK) colors will incur color separation charges of $25.00/z per color.
Hard Copy Hard Copy artwork must be submitted in a camera ready format. This means a sharp black and white copy. Laser printouts work, but Linotype (also called RC paper) is better. Film positives are acceptable. Film negatives are NOT acceptable.
Hard Copy art should be sized close to the actual imprint size desired. If you have questions regarding the imprint area on the item you are ordering, please contact us.
Multi-color art submitted in Hard Copy format must be spot color separated and include registration marks and imprint colors.
Shaded artwork can be accepted, but it should be delivered at 100% size, in 40% black, with a screen frequency of 45 LPI.
Supplier Generated Copy We will generate straight-line copy (text only) for you at no charge if your order total is over $200. For orders less than that, a $25.00/z flat fee will be charged to create the copy.
We have a limited number of clipart images available to incorporate into your design. ALL artwork requiring the insertion of clipart images will be billed at our standard rate of $40.00/v per hour. Minimum 1/2 hour.
Similarly, any “hybrid” jobs requiring the insertion of customer-generated copy into supplier generated artwork will be billed at our standard rate of $40.00/v per hour, with a 1/2 hour minimum.
Authorized Returns Defective items will be replaced at no charge when returned within 30 days of receipt. Leprechaun Promotions will provide a Return Authorization for all returns. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender. Merchandise must be available to be returned to Leprechaun Promotions for any credit or replacement.
Cancellations No cancellations without the approval of Leprechaun Promotions. You will be charged for all costs incurred before the cancellation request is received at the factory.
Clarification of Orders Ship dates will not be scheduled until clarification of the Purchase Order has been completed. Please recheck your Purchase Order before sending to the factory. Leprechaun Promotions will not produce an order without a ship to address.
Copyright / Trademark Laws Leprechaun Promotions assumes, when artwork has been submitted for reproduction in producing an order, that this artwork was submitted in full compliance with the laws governing copyright, trademarks, etc. Purchasers, by placing these orders, agree to hold Leprechaun Promotions harmless for any damages, costs and/or expenses arising under these laws as a consequence of our use of said artwork.
Corrections and or Changes Any changes to an order already in house may be made, depending on order status, provided that the customer agrees to compensate for all relevant costs and allow for additional production time. All requests for corrections or changes to orders must be received in writing.
Dark Products and Shade Variances Dark color plastic products, by nature, show blemishes that are not noticeable on other colors. Due to the nature of materials and variance in manufactured products and imprint pigments, we can not guarantee exact production or imprint color matches within orders, or on repeat orders.
Drop Shipments An additional $3.00(z) charge per drop ship location will be added. Drop ship list must accompany order. Minimum one case per location.
F.O.B. All shipments are F.O.B. factory.
Imprint Position Technical restrictions prevent the exact centering of some artwork on the sides of mugs. It should be understood that some artwork will not appear as centered as others.
Ink Change Charge A charge of $25.00(v) will apply to all orders requiring an ink color change during imprinting.
Leadtimes Our Lead Times (time to the day your order will SHIP) are usually 3-5 business days from the time your order is “ready to go”. We do, however, offer 24-hour service at no extra charge (always check with the factory first for confirmation of availability).
In some cases we may be able to process your job on a Same Day basis. Please check with the factory for availability. Same Day jobs will incur a 40%(z) upcharge on all invoice items.
Your job is considered “ready to go” when we have all of the following: 1. Purchase Order, including Ship To address 2. A signed Art Approval form for the specific job in question 3. Pre-payment or Credit Card Authorization for first-time customers 4. A signed, approved Credit Application for recurring customers Without all of the appropriate information in hand, your job will not be considered “ready to go” and will not be scheduled for production.
Liability Shipping and production promises are made in good faith. If for any reason, whether due to our fault or otherwise, delivery is delayed or not affected, it is understood that we are not liable for any consequential damages or secondary charges of losses of any nature resulting therefrom.
Order Quantities Due to the difficulty in manufacturing exact quantities, 5% over or under the exact quantity ordered shall be considered fulfillment of the order. Orders specifying no over-runs are subject to short shipment of up to 10%.
Payment Terms All first time customers will be asked to either pre-pay or pay via credit card (we accept Master Card and Visa). Our standard Net 30 Terms will only be extended to customers who have submitted a signed Credit Application and have been notified of the extension of terms. Our Credit Application reviews the specific terms and conditions of the extension of trade credit. Even with the approval of credit terms, partial pre-payment may be required on certain high dollarorders. Please check with the factory for details.
Phone Orders Orders placed by phone MUST be confirmed in writing or order will not be accepted. Mark order “Confirmation Only”. If not marked in this manner, the order could cause liability of duplication, which would be the responsibility of the customer.
Pre-Production Proofs and Samples There is no charge black and white proofs. “Virtual” samples, or color images of your artwork on the item you are ordering are available for $25.00(z) and can take up to 48 hours to be provided to you via email. Actual pre-production samples of your job are available at a cost of $50.00(z) PLUS all applicable screen and PMS charges. If the pre-production sample is accepted EXACTLY, there will be no additional set-up charge when the order is produced.
Random Samples Random samples are provided at no charge to the Distributor. We do require you to pay for the shipping of your sample. We can accept a valid UPS account number or a credit card for the cost of shipping.
Repeat Orders We endeavor to keep art on file for 18 months from the date of order. Exact repeat orders within that time frame will incur no set-up charge. Repeat orders older than 18 months will incur normal set-up charges.
Rush Orders Leprechaun Promotions offers 24-Hour Service at No Extra Charge. To receive this service, please ensure that your job is confirmed as “ready to go” by 3 PM EST on the day before shipment is required. A definition of “ready to go” is given above, under the heading Leadtimes.
We also offer Same-Day Service at a 40%(z) upcharge. If SAME DAY service is required, your job needs to be confirmed as “ready to go” by 11 AM EST on the day of shipment.
For either 24-Hour Service at No Extra Charge or Same-Day Service, you must check with factory to confirm availability.
Shipping and Handling Shipping weights found in our catalog are estimates, and may vary slightly. Please include an “In Hands” date with your order. Shipping method will be based on our best judgement, unless specified by you. Normally we use UPS or Motor Carrier. Special methods for speed are used at your option. Note that UPS Blue and UPS Red plus other overnight services are subject to additional costs due to dimensional weights and cubic densities. Our liability passes upon delivery to common carrier. Leprechaun does not guarantee delivery by any carrier. You will be responsible for the cost of items purchased even if the carrier misses the scheduled delivery date. Claims for damages, shortages, etc. must be made within 10 days. Note damage, in writing, with delivering carrier’s driver, and save carton and contents for inspection.
Washing of Mugs Items in our catalog are not recommended for use in commercial dish-washers. Items are Top-Rack dishwasher safe, but for best imprint life, hand-washing is recommended.
